The below text is helpful for learners who would like to practice reading and comprehension. You may start with the Arabic text if your goal is practicing reading and comrehension at the same time. If your goal is to practice comprehension only, then you may start with the translational text. FInally, you may ready the text in English and practice your skills to translate it into Arabic.

مرحبًا!
اِسْمِي سام. أَنا مِنْ أَلْمانْيا، لَكِن أَسْكُن وَأَعْمَل في دُبَي الآن. أَسْكُن في دُبي لِمُدَّة ثَلاث سَنَوات وَأُحِبها كَثيراً
دبي مَدينة جَميلة جِدَاً. هِي مدينة كَبيرة وَهُناك مَطاعِم كَثيرة مِن بِلاد مُخْتَلِفة. أُحِب أن أُجَرِّب طَعَام جَديد في دبي
أَعْمَل مَع شَرِكة صَغيرة في وَسَط المَدينة. شركتي قَريبة من بيتي، حَوالي خَمْسة عَشْرة دَقيقة بِالسَّيَّارة
أَسْكُن في دبي مَع عائِلَتي. أَنا مُتَزَوِّج وَعِندي اِبنين و بِنتين. زَوْجَتي مِن أَلمانيا كمان، وَهِيَ مُدَرِّسة في مَدْرَسة مَحَلِيَّة

Ismee Sam. Ana min almanya, lakin askun wa aa’mal fee Dubai alaan. Askun fee Dubai li-muddat thalaath sanawaat wa ohibhaa katheeran.

Dubai madeena jameela jiddan. Hiya madeena kabeera wa hunaak mataai’m katheera min bilaad mukhtalifa. Ohib an ujarrib taa’am jadeed fee Dubai.

Aa’mal ma’ sharika sagheera fee wasat almadeena. Sharikatee qareeba min baitee, hawalee khamsa 3ashra daqeeqa bi-ssayyara.

Askun fee Dubai ma’  aailatee. Ana mutazawwij wa ‘indee ibnain wa bintain. Zawjatee min almanya kamaan, wa hiya mudarrisa fee madrasa mahaliyya.

My name is Sam. I am from Germany, but I live and work in Dubai now. I live in Dubai for 3 years and I like it a lot.

Dubai is a very beautiful city; it is big and there are many restaurants from different countries. I like to try new food in Dubai.

I work with a small company in the city center. My company is nearby my house, around 15 minutes by car.

I live in Dubai with my family. I am married and I have 2 sons and 2 daughters. My wife is from Germany also, and she is a teacher in a local school.
